Your phone's signal is also lumped in with that too
 
I reverted back to a backup because I couldn't get GPS to lock. Jerry will figure it out, don't worry.
 
I've never had luck with GPS on backside since the beginning. It works enough though just not with Google nav. Just used GPS for a location needed app and had no problems.
 
This is the first time that GPS hasn't worked for me since maybe the early August-September builds.
 
Today, first time ever, I experienced the famous insufficient space error updating Google Maps from market so I removed the new 11mvdalvik script, put back the good old 1mvdalvik script, cleared /cache and everything is back to normal. So the new solution for this problem just brought me the problem, ha-ha...
 
I tested navigation after seeing your posts, and it worked fine, gps locked on within 5-7 seconds, and it never crashed.

Try fix_permissions in terminal, then reboot. If that doesn't help, you know the next steps, full wipe/format and reflash. ;)

Edit- Try clearing Navigation's data and cache under manage applications too.
 
Not quite sure how this happened, but...
I made a backup of 0212 so I could test Quattrimus Alpha (not bad, pretty quick) but when I restored BACKside half my apps were missing , and I've had monster lag on everything. I know how to fix this, I'm just trying to figure out what caused it.

Exact same thing here. I thought maybe I had done something wrong. Not only apps, but some things were missing on my SD card. I don't think anything was missing after restoring from Alpha1, but I'm sure they are missing after Alpha2.
 
hey jerry, where can i find links to your older builds? 2/6 and 2/12 have been giving my wifes phone freezing and signal drop issues. Maybe it just needs a fresh install?
 
Just go back a few pages and look around to you find the posts where he first puts the builds up.

I am also on 01312012 and my GPS works flawlessly. In fact, it has worked perfectly and connected immediately since I first installed backside in September.
 
Jerry, is it set in stone that going forward your builds will be handling the Dalvik like 2/6 and 2/12? I'm pretty sure of the answer but just had to ask (officialy) Thanks!:)
 
We just need to run fix permission. Are processors are just not as perfect. I like the 01312012 build though.
 
Hey, my wifi is completely broken. I don't think it is related to rom. It doesn't scan for anything and doesn't detect networks. Is there any way to trouble shoot this problem? Also after running fix permissions all my screen freezes cleared up, everything is working perfectly except wifi, and like I say I get the feeling that the wifi module in my phone is broken. Any ideas? I appreciate any help.

What build are you using? There was one where it didn't work.

I think this is a screenshot of what it looks like. All it ever says is connecting. No networks in the area are detected, only all of my saved networks. If the screenshot doesn't work it is because I tried to do this from my phone ha
