Root [ROM][WIP] BACKside ROM (CM7) + Green Machine Theme

This rom is great! Feels faster than aospcmod. However, I had mms working there, but when I switched to backside whenever I send an mms it remains forever stuck at "Sending.."
 
@benslgdroid: That options should be there. Try reflashing the ROM and gapps, just wipe cache and dalvik, don't format anything or reset to defaults. When you setup google, be sure to select to install anything that says voice on it.

MMS works fine. If it isn't working for you, first be sure you have 3g working (try sending a SMS to test). If 3g is fine, then you most likely restored a system app and/or it's data. To get MMS working again, first backup your apps with TitaniumBackup or MyBackup, but DO NOT BACKUP SYSTEM APPS OR DATA! Then go into recovery and wipe cache/dalvik, then under mounts format boot, data, system, and cache. Then reflash the ROM and gapps. Reboot, be sure 3g is enabled, and test MMS. If it all works, then restore your apps, but DO NOT RESTORE ANY SYSTEM APPS OR DATA!!!

I just tested MMS, and it worked fine. ;)

also, has anyone else noticed that wallpaper from the market appears to be zoomed in when you apply it? i have the market download antique cm walls and all appear to be zoomed in too much after i apply it.

has anybody else noticed that the wallpapers from the market are zoomed in when activated? when i preview the pic, it looks fine. but when i use it, it is magnified 5x and i can only see the middle area of the pic.
 
thanks for putting up with me, jerry. :)

i was trying cyanbreadx wallpapers, not the themes. the same thing happened with antique cm wallpapers.
 
well my problem was both the cyanbreadx and antique cm wallpapers for the adw launcher. i was launching the themes through there, and as soon as i select a different wallpaper from that package, the screen zooms in like crazy. i could have sworn this didnt happen on the last cm7 build i used, but no big deal. i just found some other wallpapers on the market that work just fine.

yea, it's weird. I didn't bother to format data and system and just flashed the rom over aospcmod because I was lazy. Everything worked perfectly except mms so I didn't think it was the culprit. But it's back to a format and flash :/ I guess this is a warning for anyone else who doesn't do a full format
 
New BACKside-IHO build is up 08172011

Changes to GPS to hopefully help battery life, second sdcard partition should be recognized, changed the second boot logo, and a bunch of minor behind the scenes tweaks

Just updated to the 8/17 ROM. GPS is missing in the settings screen. I tried turning it on with the shortcut icon in the notification window, but that didn't work.

Hey! Those fish are looking a little better than the last poor little thang. Can't wait till you catch an 8-10lb fish.

Aah the life of a ROM tester. What we do so that others may have an awesome ROM.
Hang in there guy's and help support JerryScript in his effort to perfect the most awesome Rom out there. He needs all of our input so he can improve it. Don't jump ship just because something doesn't work today. Your input might help him to fix it tomorrow.
