yes i had to flash the 4.0.2 stock image to get my phone back, its insane
imo it was a big mistake to go from the stock 2.1 build to all the custom stuff suddenly dumped into the 3.0 build. introduce too much nonsense + beta build = disaster...
once v3 fails, your nexus becomes useless, you cannot restore a nandroid, you cannot install v2.1, you cannot install v3, you cannot install aokp b40, i am having to unbrick my nexus
I'm in the same boat, spent the last 3 hours trying to get it to work. No luck. Trying Vicious at the moment now. I've found that wiping and then flashing a different rom will work. Only problem is I can't even boot into recovery right now...guess the phone's just dead. What a PITA...
Can you not boot into recovery using the method I described in the 1st post?
So which one is everyone looking at once it really gets stable? Cyanogen? I'm new to this.
Edit: I see in the poll that Liquid and AOKP are the two most popular here. I guess they'll probably have a timeframe once the full source code is released in a few days?
Here's a random question that probably would have a better place to post, but I'm going to ask any way. When you install a new ROM (I'll be coming from stock), do you have to set the phone back up with Verizon or not?
