[Verizon] [ROM]JDX (formerly Jelly Belly) AOSP+ - v15 (7/28)

Good morning, Boss!

I picked up Android Revolution Super Wipe and it seems to do a good job. I think they all do the same thing, formatting the Big Four partitions.

Scroll down and DL Super Wipe Lite :)

EDIT: Okay, dirty flashed to 3.4 (wiped cache, dalvik and system), battery% and power menu mods work, everything seems to work! GPS lock inside the house within 10 seconds. This is awesome. Well done, Jake!

Yeah, that's the same one I use.

flashed franco's exp 217

UC to 1036

so far so good, we'll see how battery life holds up

overnight on the stock linaro my phone kept waking up, maybe this will fix that

You might want to just check and see to make sure you're getting proper deep sleep. Only takes a second and free. CPUSpy. Open, 3dot menu, reset timer, set phone down unplugged for 10 minutes, turn on and check cpuspy.

I don't know why, but when I was getting full 4g on the phone the browser didn't seem like it wanted to load up any pages I tried going to. Eventually it started to load the pages, but I don't remember ever having this issue with previous versions. Maybe it was just an issue with the location I was at.

Have you tried clearing your cache for the browser? Over time it can really fill up and cause slowness.

Has anyone noticed problems with SwiftKey 3 not working? I have it installed via TiBU, and I was unable to turn it on via Languages & Input, the checkbox just wouldn't stay checked. Not a big deal, since 3.5 will probably be out in about 10 minutes, but just wanted to check if anyone else noticed this problem?

Are you talking about the little android buy battery meter in that first screen shot? I like the background, looks cool. I also like the transparent icons like the cpu+temp.

Nope, the android guy battery meter is one of the mods he has there. He doesn't have a screenshot up, but look at the links and you'll see fat battery

Well, this is a bizarre little quirk in 3.4.

I tested Navigation, and the Nav Lady speaks! Not only does she speak, she says street names! :D

BUT:

I set it to take me to the local big box super store. "Head east on Lake Road toward Spring Street." Yayyy!

Got to Spring St. GPS screen said turn this way so I did. And turn at the next right. I did.

"Head east on Lake Road toward Spring Street."

All the way to the big box super store, all she said was "Head east on Lake Road toward Spring Street."

As I left the store, I decided to re-boot the phone and try Nav again going home. GPS locked, Nav pointed the way on the screen, and Nav lady said:

Wait for it...

"Head east on Lake Road toward Spring Street."

GAHHHHHH!

What is going on??? Do you have a clue what's up and how I can fix this?

Crazy! Going for a ride now will test and report back ;)

Spit.

Everyone on Rootz is recommending a full wipe and a re-install. I don't wanna! :(

I'll wait for your input and see if you have the same issue. If not, then wipe I shall

Ah, the price we pay for being on the bleeding edge of technology here...

I think I may have found my first thing that doesn't work in 3.4. I just installed Google Voice and tried to sign in and all I can get is this error message:

We have a problem. Your account status could not be loaded. Please try again.

I have tried and tried and all I get is that error message. Now, Voice has been working in some of the other builds.

Chief,

I have a Garmin Nuvi in my car and hardly ever use nav on my Nexus. I will try and test mine and see what I get as well. About to make a short road trip.

Hmm this deserves a serious visit. Just inspired me to go do the errands I was putting off...navigation test imminent...will report back.
