Disappearing drive

That's never worked before but I guess. I should probably give up on this stuff, go live in a cave, and pick berries. I guess I could figure out if they're ripe or call technical support with a tin can and a string. At least I was finally able to find drive and files. They were hiding in, of all things, the Google bunch, with a lot more.

default email signature

I don't really understand why anyone would want one of those default signature that advertises which app sent it. I can see why the app developer might, but not the actual user.
I agree with you. As for me, it's like you don’t care what you're sending to your addressee if you just leave the default "sent from" signature. It doesn’t add anything useful and looks a bit lazy. I prefer to customize mine to look more professional and polished, especially with tools like Exclaimer that make it easy to create something personalized.

Help Tech Support & Things That Make You Go Hmmmm...

We finally got this issue resolved. For anyone else having this annoying problem the culprit is RegiStar in the app GOOD LOCK. Just go tO RegiStar, and if you have nothing assigned to the "Side Key press and hold" function, either turn it off, or select an action for it. I turned mine off because the phone itself has a Side Key function option. Good luck.

How to clear up Internal Storage Space on Android Phone

Your two posted screen shots represent two completely different scenarios -- the first indicates a phone with 16 GBs of internal storage, the second indicates a phone with apparently 128 GB or more internal storage. Are they from two different phones, or instead are both from just your Moto E6? (..... and you had your microSD card formatted as Portable in the first screen cap and then formatted as Internal in the second cap, an issue being only so much pertinent details are greyed out.)
They are the same phone. I have a 128 micro SD card inserted into the phone, but it is installed as "portal" storage, not integrated "internal" storage. I do remember now , that I wanted the ability to easily transfer files, photos, videos to and from my phone to my laptop so I set it up as portable. I suppose I could re-format the micro SD card so that it's internal, but I guess then there is no easy way to transfer photos, videos, files to/from computer (I guess uploading to cloud) but that's way way too much of a pain.

Psycho clock

Yeah... it's probably running on a low-bidder processor chip that was never calibrated to "one second". If you can still get a refund, get it. This is why we don't use digital thermometers to check our temperatures and see if we have a fever: there is no way to know how accurate (or not) those cheap things are. We have old-school mercury thermometers: humans have known the properties of mercury for thousands of years... the thermometers are consistently accurate and NEVER need batteries. The best place to find them is yard sales, estate sales or ebay.

hello from Bunghole

I have had new registrations closed since things were in shambles and we got tons and tons of spam registrations. Thinking of opening it back up but need a system to prevent spam registrations.

However, I would be sad to see bunghole knocked down a rung, and I don't want to hurt my dear bunghole.
Well he is currently locked up in my basement. Do what you got to do. If his membership gets wiped out, he'll survive. He is like a cockroach who won't die or go away.

In Memoriam - Our Pets

The hurt will finally go away, the memories will not, that is what I have learned.

I feel the pain of all owners who have lost/had to put down a four legged friend.

This is Honeydog, I caught her living out of trash cans in an alley and she went on to be my best friend for many many years and I finally had to put her down due to old age. She was blind and deaf and could not hold her bladder, but I still loved her !

RIP baby girl

i don't get ads when i use google photos. i love the fact that all of my photos are backed up on the cloud with me not having to do anything. plus i can take a photo and almost instantly i can get that photo to my pc without having to hook up any wires and such.
