Root 1984kbps!!speedtest.net results after a couple of tweaks

the only thing the pro version supports is com ports above 9... change the com port to something below 9 (in device manager, on pc) and it will work with the free version... i have been using CDMA forever, no 'trial expired' warning... (could mine be cracked??? lol)

No your right .. I should be legit. just change your port topken. Mine is like two i think. as long as it's 8 or below it should not effect your usage
 
I can not even open cdma workshop it tells me my trial as expired and wont open the program and I already changed the port to one below 9
 
seeing as how the version i have downloaded came as a rar file and thus did not need installing that will not work for me. I got it from CDMA-ware but I dont know if that is the offical site for the program or not as it was the first link on the list when i searched google for CDMA workshop so if you could please point me in the direction to download the correct version of the program that would be helpful

its legit. The program does not install on the system, it runs straight from the files in the folder.
 
I have the same problem, CDMA won't even start without saying trial expired. I had 11115 and started getting lower signals and was gonna switch to 60683.
 
Since I moved I am getting very weak single here at my new place and need to switch to a different PRL since I am currently using the boost prl and the reception sucks here. I was hoping a different prl would help me but I cant even use cdma workshop anymore

So my phone is basically useless as a phone right now becuase of that
 
and I can no longer do anything to my phone because my cable is broken now. It sucks because I am getting a very crappy signal still.

i have gone thru this whole thread question can i update /edit my prl file while running a custom rom (Star-ScRom 2.3.4 on Samsung transform ultra. boost or do i have to go back stock if i go back to stock and reflash custom will i keep my custom prl

yes you can change your PRL with Star-Scrom. Its just a stock, deodexed ROM with some scripts added and a few things. It will access the hidden menu just as the stock rom will..

Just follow the directions here for "gingerbread" and not froyo the boost codes for hidden menu should all be the same. you can use any prl from the op just as we do.
 
im using shevron rom, to change the prl i had to flash back to stock rom, write the prl, next i wrote the starscrom, then lastly i wrote the schevron rom over the starscrom - the prl i wrote was still there, but thats like 1.5 hours work each time you wanna change the prl ;(

it didnt seem to help either, my signal still doesnt pick up downstairs hehe

The easiest way to change your PRL is with CDMA Workshop (5 minutes) . Flashing a rom will not affect the PRL . The only way to do that is manually by updating PRL or using another program . ;):D
